The goal of Project GAP is to increase the representation of underrepresented minority (URM) in geological sciences through academic based interventions that create an awareness of geological sciences as a possible career choice in science technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) careers.
These interventions will target students at five academic levels. These will include URM students at Middle schools, High schools, Columbus State Community College, Freshman and Seniors at Ohio State University.
